Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sammy Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Wein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sammy Morgan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Wein!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan throws a series of punches but Wein moves out of range.
Morgan lands a with a good body shot.
Morgan is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Wein keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Morgan misses with a takedown attempt - Wein sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Morgan is looking to clinch.
Wein throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Morgan tries for a takedown but Wein sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Wein misses with a shot to the body
and Morgan counters with a stiff right hand.
Morgan tries to close the distance and clinch but Wein swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wein throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Morgan sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Wein scores with a hook to the body. Morgan takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Wein closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Morgan throws the left hand but Wein avoids the punch easily.

Wein buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Good leg kick by Wein there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Wein shoots for a double leg takedown but Morgan sprawls well. He's pushed Wein's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Wein checks a leg kick.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Morgan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wein lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

John Wein dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Wein feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
