Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Goku san (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hughes is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hard To See. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as san sprawls well. san wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hughes gets slowly back to his feet.

san drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hughes wants to get back to his feet but san is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
san wants to control from the top but Hughes keeps moving.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Hughes lands a left and a right that send san crashing to the mat, dazed. Hughes thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Tommy Hughes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hughes lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
san ducks right into an uppercut from Hughes.
Hughes tries to bum rush san with a series of wild strikes but san uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That was a close second round but I would say that Goku san will probably get the nod.
