Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bart Gimmerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gimmerson comes into the arena with Overkill - World of Hurt blaring out of the sound system. Taylor has chosen Morning Light - Concorde Dawn as his entrance music. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gimmerson closes the distance looking to clinch
and Taylor counters with a single leg into guard. Gimmerson didn't expect that.
Gimmerson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Taylor is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gimmerson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Taylor's back instead.
Gimmerson doesn't have the hooks in and Taylor manages to turn into his guard.
Taylor looking to sit in guard and control but Gimmerson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
