Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between JB Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Allan Hawthorne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Black might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Walk. JB Black has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawthorne throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Black.

Allan Hawthorne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Black shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Black showed some decent athleticism there.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Black throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Black counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hawthorne's guard now.
Black passes Hawthorne's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Black is trying to control the action in half guard but Hawthorne is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Hawthorne is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Black's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Black's back!

Hawthorne is cranking Black's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Black! He's tightened the choke and Black is tapping out!
