Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, AJ Arroyo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andy Booth!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arroyo moves out of range as Booth strikes.
Booth punishes Arroyo's body with a nice straight punch.
Arroyo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Arroyo misses with an uppercut.
Arroyo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Booth moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Booth takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Arroyo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Arroyo walks into a left hand.


It looks like AJ Arroyo has been cut.
Arroyo is looking to clinch but Booth is avoiding it.
Arroyo cracks Booth with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.


It looks like Andy Booth has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
No joy there for Booth, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Booth looks to land a right hand but Arroyo moved out of range.
Arroyo throws an overhand right that lands on Booth's shoulder, as Booth tries to avoid the shot.
Booth dodges the punch combination from Arroyo.

Arroyo rushes Booth and presses him up against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Booth.
Booth is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Booth trying to stall but Arroyo improves his position.
Booth takes a knee right on the jaw!
Arroyo lands a nice uppercut.
Booth wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Arroyo has him pressed against the cage.
Arroyo lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Arroyo creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Booth's defenses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Arroyo prevents Booth from breaking the clinch.
Arroyo lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Arroyo connects with a nasty looking knee right to Booth's face.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Booth.
Still in the clinch, Arroyo scores with a nice short uppercut.
Arroyo scores with a nice hook to the head.
Arroyo lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Booth has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Arroyo lands an elbow inside that Booth shrugs off.
Arroyo drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Booth gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Arroyo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A combination from Booth does no damage.
Arroyo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Booth circles away quickly and effectively.
Arroyo is breathing heavily.
Booth scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Arroyo doesn't seem bothered though.
Arroyo avoids the body shot from Booth.
Booth ducks under a wild hook from Arroyo.
A big right from Arroyo misses.
Booth jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Booth moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Arroyo drops his hands momentarily and Booth takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Arroyo walks into a jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Booth wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Booth lands a with a good body shot.
Booth scores with a crisp jab that stopped Arroyo in his tracks.


Arroyo is rocked!
Booth dances in with a quick combination. Arroyo is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Booth snaps Arroyo's head back. Arroyo stumbles backwards against the cage. Booth steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Arroyo's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Arroyo just didn't come prepared.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Andy Booth!
