Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between charly brandy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Leal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). brandy comes to the cage accompanied by boom boom pow. charly brandy could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Drake Leal's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
brandy shoots in but Leal avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Leal doesn't manage to clinch there - brandy circles away.
brandy dodges the punch combination from Leal.
brandy swats away the attempt to clinch by Leal.
Left hook, right uppercut from Leal.
Leal jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Leal drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Leal really doesn't want to stay on the ground with brandy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

brandy manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Leal manages to get himself to full guard.
Leal is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
