The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage doesn't manage to clinch there - Johnson circles away.

Johnson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Savage is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Johnson pulls his head out easily.
Savage is trying to stand up here but Johnson is controlling him well.
Johnson tries to stand and escape but Savage is controlling the position.
Savage has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Johnson is working away from the top position though.

Johnson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Savage does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Savage moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Johnson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Savage is trying to keep Johnson in close.
Johnson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Savage has his feet on Johnson's thighs here. He's pushed Johnson off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Johnson screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
