Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Roberson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glenardo Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberson's entrance music is Road To Zion-Damian Marley. A fine choice. Glenardo Gonzalez struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Glenardo Gonzalez will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No joy there for Roberson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Roberson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gonzalez is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Roberson.

Gonzalez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Roberson as he avoids it easily.
Roberson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Roberson throws a nice looking combination but Gonzalez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Roberson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Roberson.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Roberson throws a right and a left that Gonzalez avoids nicely.
Gonzalez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Roberson but Roberson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Gonzalez slips a jab and a cross from Roberson.
Roberson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gonzalez.

Gonzalez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Gonzalez has an Americana. Roberson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gonzalez is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gonzalez hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
