The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonny is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ballantine scores with a decent looking hook.
Bonny shoots in for a takedown but Ballantine shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ballantine lands a with a good body shot.
Ballantine throws a body punch but Bonny moves out of range.
Ballantine throws a combination. Bonny tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like William Bonny has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Ballantine lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bonny at a distance.
Ballantine sizes up Bonny with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Ballantine cracks Bonny with a big right hand and Bonny goes down!

Bonny is rocked!
Bonny has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Ballantine has passed into side control.
Bonny is still in real trouble! Can Ballantine finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ballantine has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Bonny seems to have recovered his senses.

Ballantine smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Ballantine is looking to wear down Bonny with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Ballantine and Bonny goes tumbling to the canvas! Ballantine follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Bonny tries to kick Ballantine off in order to stand up. Ballantine Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Bonny throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.

Ballantine stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Ballantine dances in with a quick combination. Bonny is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Ballantine snaps Bonny's head back. Bonny stumbles backwards against the cage. Ballantine steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Bonny's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Bonny just didn't come prepared.
