Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinya Imanari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Perry might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to In Time. Imanari is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Era - Ameno. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shinya Imanari!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Imanari drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Imanari trying to control the position but Perry is working away.
Perry looks to move to half guard but instead Imanari has passed into mount! Damn!
Imanari throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Imanari pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Imanari is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Perry is surviving well by controlling Imanari's body position as best he can.
Imanari can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Perry is looking to escape.
Imanari wants to take his opponent's back but Perry doesn't allow it.

Imanari avoids the attempt from Perry to control.
Perry bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Perry wants to control from the top but Imanari keeps moving.

Perry is stalling in the full guard.
Imanari controls Perry momentarily but Perry frees himself.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Imanari throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Perry is looking to work some ground and pound but Imanari has wrist control.
Imanari is trying to control the position but Perry postures up.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Imanari fails to land the takedown.
Perry circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nice takedown defense from Perry. No joy for Imanari on that attempt.
Perry shoots in and bounces Imanari off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Imanari is trying to control the position but Perry postures up.
Perry wants to control from the top but Imanari keeps moving.
Imanari has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Perry should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Imanari has tightened it up now! Perry should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
