Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Patrick Reid!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reid doesn't manage to clinch there - Smith circles away.
Smith misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Reid gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Smith moves into the clinch.
Reid is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Smith stops a takedown attempt from Reid.
Pryehah Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrick Reid.
Reid looks gassed!
Smith lands a damaging elbow.
It looks like Patrick Reid has been cut.
Reid wants a takedown.
Smith pulls guard successfully.
Smith wants to sweep but no luck.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Reid wants to clinch
and Smith counters with a left and a right that stings Reid.
Smith fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Smith has managed to clinch.
Reid jumps guard but Smith stands there with Reid around his waist. Reid gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Reid wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Smith has him pressed against the cage.
Smith manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Reid or perhaps it was just good defense by Smith which made him look bad.
Smith instigates a clinch.
Smith drops down looking for an ankle pick but Reid pulls his leg out and moves away.
Reid should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Smith fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Reid looks to clinch
and Smith moves into the clinch.
Reid looking to slow down the pace here.
Smith breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Smith throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Reid's head.
Smith lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Smith.
Smith fails with the takedown.
Smith drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Smith advances to mount.
You get the feeling that Reid really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Smith pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Reid is rocked!
Smith content just to control the position here.
Reid is still in real trouble! Can Smith finish him?

Patrick Reid's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Patrick Reid's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
