Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rashawn Curry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alves has chosen Big Shit Poppin as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rashawn Curry could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Paulo Alves's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rashawn Curry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paulo Alves!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves shoots in but Curry avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Alves shoots in for a double leg but Curry sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Curry just misses with a punch to the body.
Curry jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Alves closes the distance and clinches up with Curry, looking for a takedown. Alves pushes Curry against the cage but Curry circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Rashawn Curry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paulo Alves.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alves throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Curry's waist but Curry gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alves off to one side.
Curry leaves Alves with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rashawn Curry is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Alves shoots in for a takedown but Curry shows good takedown defense.
Alves throws a right hand that Curry ducks under and follows up with a left that Curry also avoids with ease.
Curry moves into range and connects with a jab.
Curry pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Curry misses with an uppercut. Alves saw that one coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Alves fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Alves avoids the body shot from Curry.
Horrible takedown by Alves or perhaps it was just good defense by Curry which made him look bad.
Alves shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Curry but Curry pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Curry cracks Alves with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Alves looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Curry finish him?
It looks like Paulo Alves has been cut.
Alves looks gassed!
Alves looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Alves throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Curry's waist but Curry gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alves off to one side.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Alves misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Curry lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Curry circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Alves tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Curry wins by KO!
