Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dayton Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Poole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Clarke might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bob Marley - Jammin'. Dayton Clarke has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dayton Clarke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shawn Poole!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarke lands with a right hand.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Poole.
Poole dives in and grabs Clarke's left leg, looking for a takedown. Clarke pushes down on Poole's head and hops out.
Jab, jab by Clarke - just one landing.
Poole fails with the takedown.
Dayton Clarke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shawn Poole.
Poole closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Clarke swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Poole.
Poole wants to clinch.
Jab, jab by Clarke - just one landing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Clarke throws a leg kick but Poole moved away.
Clarke uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A jab from Clarke finds it's way through Poole's defenses.
Clarke with a nice cross.
Clarke misses with a few strikes there.
Clarke lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Poole tries to score a power double leg takedown but Clarke sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Poole somewhat.
Poole gets cracked there but stands up to it.
A decent looking cross lands there for Clarke.
Poole tries a head kick but it misses.
Dayton Clarke is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Poole shoots for a double leg takedown but Clarke sprawls well. He's pushed Poole's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Poole looks gassed!
Poole wants to clinch up but Clarke keeps it at a distance.
Clarke connects with a good right hand that stumbles Poole. Poole circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Poole takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Clarke circles away from the clinch attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Poole looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nice uppercut lands for Clarke. That snapped Poole's head back.
Clarke leaves Poole with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Clarke scores with a sloppy right hand. Poole should have avoided that one.
Poole is trying desperately to land a takedown but Clarke is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Poole.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Poole ducks right into an uppercut from Clarke.
Clarke cracks Poole with an open hand slap.
Clarke moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Poole goes down! Can Clarke finish him!?
Poole is rocked!
Clarke decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Poole is still on wobbly legs! Can Clarke finish him?
Clarke measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Poole! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Dayton Clarke!
