and Brown counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Nogueira fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Brown tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Nogueira just stands there and leans against the cage.
Nogueira has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Brown is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Nogueira wants to control from the top but Brown keeps moving.

Brown can't keep his opponent in guard - Nogueira advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Nogueira is trying to control the action in half guard but Brown is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Nogueira is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Brown is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brown.
Brown leaves Nogueira with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Brown checks a leg kick.

Nogueira goes for a takedown attempt but Brown pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Nogueira shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brown pinned against the cage. Brown gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Brown throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nogueira's waist but Nogueira gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brown off to one side.

Nogueira had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Brown is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Nogueira Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Brown's back instead.
