The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Abigor closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Abigor has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Abigor get's back to his feet.

Abigor closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Abigor looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Abigor trying to control the action but Williams is working from the bottom.

Abigor is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Williams has escaped the position, nice work there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Williams is pushing Abigor's head away, looking to escape. Abigor manages to hold on to the position though.

Abigor goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Williams has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Abigor but great work by Williams.
Abigor tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Williams wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Abigor is breathing heavily.

Williams is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Williams is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Abigor is pressing down on Williams's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Abigor has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Williams can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Williams is looking to stand up but Abigor won't let him.
Abigor manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Abigor breaks from Williams's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Abigor with a couple of short strikes.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Abigor has hold of Williams's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Williams manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Abigor working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Williams looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Abigor! Submission of the night perhaps?
