Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fidel Jr Castro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Biff Hemlock!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Castro forces Hemlock back against the cage and clinches.

Castro has Hemlock pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Castro pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hemlock tumbling to the mat - Castro dives into Hemlock's guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hemlock takes a swing at Castro's ribcage but misses.

Hemlock tries to land a front kick but Castro steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Castro wants to control the pace but Hemlock is squirming around nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The fighters circle momentarily. Hemlock darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Hemlock swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Hemlock clinches up with Castro and pushes him back against the cage.

Castro has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hemlock clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Despite being in the dominant position, Biff Hemlock just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Hemlock lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Hemlock ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hemlock goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Hemlock and Castro goes tumbling to the canvas! Hemlock follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.


Castro is rocked!
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hemlock in particular looking to stall.
Oh Castro is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hemlock frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Castro seems to have got his legs back now.
Hemlock is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Castro is in real trouble.

Hemlock is looking for the choke from the back position but Castro is controlling his hands well.
Hemlock tries to keep control of the position but Castro is staying busy.

Hemlock really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Castro.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hemlock wants to control but Castro manages to buck him off and is now in Hemlock's guard! Nice work there by Castro!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Hemlock misses with the combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Biff Hemlock showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!


Castro closes the distance and clinches up with Hemlock, looking for a takedown. Castro pushes Hemlock against the cage but Hemlock circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Fidel Jr Castro is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Castro fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hemlock avoids it really well and circles away.

Castro looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hemlock is fending him off so far but Castro persists. Nope, Hemlock circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fidel Jr Castro. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hemlock lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Hemlock paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Hemlock moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Hemlock lunges at Castro with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Castro's hand.

Hemlock goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

A decent looking cross lands there for Hemlock.
Castro checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Hemlock uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Castro has time to react.

Castro shoots in and bounces Hemlock off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Castro stays in close to Hemlock's body and controls the position.

Castro wants to control from the top but Hemlock keeps moving.
Hemlock looking to hit a scissor sweep but Castro is one step ahead there.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Biff Hemlock comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Hemlock has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
