Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lurppa Korva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Weicikilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weicikilla has chosen How You Like Me Now as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lurppa Korva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dave Weicikilla!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Korva misses the target.
Weicikilla swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Weicikilla leaves Korva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Weicikilla dives in and grabs Korva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Korva pushes down on Weicikilla's head and hops out.
Korva looks for a takedown but Weicikilla sprawls well.
Korva ducks under a wild hook from Weicikilla.

Weicikilla changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Korva tries to avoid it but Weicikilla manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Korva to the ground. Korva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Weicikilla escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Korva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Korva tries to free his leg and advance position but Weicikilla is retaining full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Weicikilla lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Korva circles away quickly and effectively.

Well Weicikilla has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
