Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ronys Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aarron Moone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Ronys Torres has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ronys Torres!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aarron Moone!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moone shoots in but Torres avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Torres tries for a takedown but Moone sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Moone drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Torres working for a triangle but Moone defends it easily.
Moone preventing the sweep.

Torres is looking for a triangle but Moone pushes his legs off easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Moone distracts Torres with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Torres has his foot on Moone's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Moone works his way back into a safe position though.

Torres working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Moone doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Moone manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Torres is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Moone defends well.
Torres is breathing heavily.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Moone's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Torres preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Torres has momentary wrist control but Moone slips an elbow through the middle.
Moone works over Torres with some ground and pound from guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moone stands up over Torres, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Moone postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Moone working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Torres's head.
Torres manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Moone manages to get himself to full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Moone trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Torres drops back looking for a leg! Moone is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Moone manages to kick Torres off! Torres jumps back into Moone's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Moone can do anything to dispel that myth.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Torres drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Torres jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Torres stands and throws Moone's legs to the side, diving into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Moone misses with an elbow from the bottom.
Moone throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.

Torres is working to tighten is grip on Moone's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Moone has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Torres is really squeezing tight and eventually Moone passes out! Torres breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
