Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Petr Vondrachek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jing Ya Xu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Petr Vondrachek has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ya Xu shoots in for a takedown but Vondrachek shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Vondrachek will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The fighters circle momentarily. Vondrachek darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Ya Xu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Vondrachek drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ya Xu manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Vondrachek has Ya Xu in his guard.
