The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kopstoot punishes Vleghels's body with a nice straight punch.
Vleghels slips a jab and a cross from Kopstoot.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Vleghels has eaten all the pies!
Kopstoot stuffs the takedown.
Kopstoot slaps away a takedown attempt from Vleghels, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kopstoot digs a good hook to Vleghels's body.
Vleghels shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dave Kopstoot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stijn Vleghels.
Vleghels looks gassed!
Vleghels looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kopstoot is fending him off so far but Vleghels persists. Nope, Kopstoot circles away and we're back to standing.
Kopstoot moves into range and connects with a jab.
Vleghels on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kopstoot. Kopstoot obviously looking to wear him down.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A jab from Kopstoot finds it's way through Vleghels's defenses.
Kopstoot grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Vleghels takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Kopstoot cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
