And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonds fails to land with a series of punches.
Bonds darts in and clinches Gomi up against the cage.
Gomi has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bonds is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Bonds lands a left hand that snaps the head of Gomi backwards.
Bonds throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Gomis head.
Gomi goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bonds prevents it.
Gomi is trying to drag Bonds to the mat but Bonds just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arashi Gomi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bonds lands a shoulder strike.

It looks like Arashi Gomi has been cut.
Gomi tries for a takedown but Bonds manages to get underhooks.
Bonds gets control of Gomi's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bonds will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Gomi drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bonds dives on top into guard.

and Bonds counters with a crisp one two that drops Gomi! Bonds thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Gomi to his feet! Gomi is in big trouble!

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Bonds. Gomi shrugs it off though.
Oh Gomi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gomi is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bonds shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Gomi is on queer street and Bonds is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
