Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wilhelm Reich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayne McCullough (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reich's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Wilhelm Reich in Hell. Wilhelm Reich has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Wilhelm Reich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Wayne McCullough!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reich gets a takedown into half guard.
McCullough is trying to get back to full guard.

Reich is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
McCullough slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Reich passes into half guard.

Reich is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Reich stops McCullough from getting back to his feet.
Reich wants to pass the guard but McCullough is defending well.

McCullough really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reich. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

McCullough manages to break the clinch.

Wayne McCullough seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Reich shoots in and bounces McCullough off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Reich stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McCullough swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Reich won't allow McCullough to sweep him here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Reich postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! McCullough is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Reich, into his guard.

Reich is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
McCullough is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

McCullough avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
McCullough tries to free his leg and advance position but Reich is retaining full guard.
McCullough is looking to stand up but Reich won't let him.

Reich is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. McCullough is aware though and is defending well.

Reich is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

McCullough stuffs the takedown attempt from Reich. Reich gets slowly back to his feet.
McCullough misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Reich avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Reich bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Reich is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but McCullough is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
McCullough gets back to half guard.

Reich is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Reich is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Reich is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
McCullough tries to roll over but Reich keeps him under control.
Reich looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Reich stops McCullough from getting back to his feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Reich throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Reich fails with a takedown attempt.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Reich rushes McCullough and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on McCullough's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Reich tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. McCullough smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wilhelm Reich. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Reich counters with a single leg into guard. McCullough didn't expect that.
Reich is looking to advance position but McCullough has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Reich is squirming around, avoiding McCullough's attempts to control the action.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Reich is squirming around, avoiding McCullough's attempts to control the action.

Reich sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Reich tries to get to full guard but McCullough has control of the leg.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Reich fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Reich looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
McCullough has his takedown stuffed

and Reich counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Reich wants to pass to mount but McCullough is defending the position.

Reich looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Reich is working for a submission of some sort.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

McCullough is defending against the submission attempts here by Reich.

Reich stops McCullough from getting back to his feet.
McCullough is looking to improve his position.

Reich seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. McCullough is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
