Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Stewie Griifin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Tic Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griifin lands a nice shot that snaps Anderson's head back.
Anderson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Anderson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Griifin is out of range and Anderson settles back down.
Griifin misses with a two punch combination.
Anderson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Griifin throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Griifin scores with a body shot.

Griifin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Griifin controls the position.
Griifin has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Griifin is putting a hurting on Anderson here, landing some big shots from side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee asks Griifin politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Griifin prefers to stall for the moment though.
Anderson tries to improve position but can't.
Anderson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Anderson seems a little lost for a moment, as Griifin dominates the positioning.

Griifin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Anderson, who protects the arm well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Griifin is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Anderson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Anderson is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Griifin lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
You can see the frustration on Anderson's face as Griifin controls the position.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Stewie Griifin just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Griifin scores with a crisp jab that stopped Anderson in his tracks.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Griifin's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Griifin duly obliges.


Anderson is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Griifin ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Anderson out cold! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Stewie Griifin!
