The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sobieski gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Vsemkapez to score an easy takedown into full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sobieski looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Vsemkapez with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Sobieski wants to free his trapped foot but Vsemkapez is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Vsemkapez had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sobieski is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Vsemkapez Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sobieski's back instead.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Well Vsemkapez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
