Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bud Brockett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Freddy A!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A gets the takedown into side control.

A decides to take the fight back to the feet.
A shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Brockett defends it nicely.
Brockett tries to clinch there but A circles away.

Brockett shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in A's guard.
Brockett pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. A is keeping the position for now.
Brockett prevents A from getting back to his feet.
A wants to sweep but no luck.
A trying to control the position.
A pulls Brockett in close to prevent any damage.
Brockett knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for A on the ground.
Brockett wants to stand but A is controlling his posture from full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

A has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brockett can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Brockett is looking to stand up but A won't let him.
A keeping moving, preventing Brockett from controlling successfully.
A controls Brockett momentarily but Brockett frees himself.

A working for a triangle but Brockett defends it easily.
A looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

A working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brockett doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but A is tightening it up a little... Brockett has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Brockett reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Brockett taps out! nice BJJ there by A!
