Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nasty closes the distance and clinches up with Munakas, looking for a takedown. Nasty pushes Munakas against the cage but Munakas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Munakas throws a head kick that misses.

Nasty fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Munakas avoids it really well and circles away.

Munakas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nasty changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Munakas tries to avoid it but Nasty manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Munakas to the ground. Munakas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nasty fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Nasty has a takedown stuffed.
Munakas stuffs the takedown attempt from Nasty. Nasty gets slowly back to his feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Nasty shoots in for a takedown but Munakas shows good takedown defense.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Nasty.
Nasty tries to score a power double leg takedown but Munakas sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nasty somewhat.

Munakas has closed the distance and engaged Nasty in a clinch.

Munakas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Munakas leaves Nasty with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Munakas swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Munakas gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Munakas misses with a hook from the clinch.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Nasty has Munakas pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Munakas manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Nasty blocks an elbow strike.

Nasty wants the takedown. Munakas is fighting it off but Nasty persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Munakas's guard against the cage.
Nasty advances to half guard.
Munakas looks gassed!

Nasty in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Munakas tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Nasty!
