Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mateus Badau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Noel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noel tries to clinch there but Badau circles away.

Badau moves into range and clinches up with Noel.
Noel's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Badau stops a takedown attempt from Noel.
Badau lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Noel jumps into guard, dragging Badau to the mat.

Noel looking for a guillotine here but Badau defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Noel wants to sweep here but Badau controlling him for the moment.

Noel is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Badau defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Noel is trying to keep Badau in close.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Badau has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Noel is proving hard to escape from.

Badau is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Noel has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Badau is looking to defend but Noel has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Badau! Noel pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Badau taps out and this one is all over!
