The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkins avoids the head kick by Woodward.
Woodward looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Woodward shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Thyre Wilkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Woodward takes one to the chin there.

It looks like Alejandro Woodward has been cut.
Woodward fails to land the takedown.
Wilkins tries to bum rush Woodward with a series of wild strikes but Woodward uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Woodward takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Wilkins scores with a jab.

Woodward is rocked!
Woodward tries to close the distance and clinch but Wilkins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Oh Woodward is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wilkins dances in with a quick combination. Woodward is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Wilkins snaps Woodward's head back. Woodward stumbles backwards against the cage. Wilkins steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Woodward's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Woodward just didn't come prepared.
