Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Miren Amiano!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
VALERIO throws a sloppy head kick and Amiano moves out of range easily.
VALERIO tries to clinch there but Amiano circles away.
VALERIO misses with a takedown attempt - Amiano sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Amiano keeps the fight on the outside.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

VALERIO is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Amiano defends well.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
VALERIO wants to clinch up but Amiano keeps it at a distance.

The fight stays on the outside here - VALERIO looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

VALERIO shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than VALERIO was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Amiano is squirming around, avoiding VALERIO's attempts to control the action.
VALERIO throws some wild stikes that Amiano manages to avoid easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
VALERIO tries to control but Amiano wriggling away.

VALERIO is going olschool here, as he tries to force Amiano to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Amiano shrugs it off.

That was a close second round but I would say that TIAGO VALERIO will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Amiano stuns VALERIO with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Amiano stalks VALERIO and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into VALERIO's face. VALERIO staggers backwards, shaken.

Amiano darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
VALERIO wants to get back to full guard but Amiano has passed into side control.
VALERIO is looking to get to half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

VALERIO avoids a series of strikes thrown by Amiano.
VALERIO can't escape the position.
VALERIO flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Amiano avoids the attempt from VALERIO to control.
VALERIO can't escape the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Amiano controlling the position easily from mount.

VALERIO is desperately trying to improve his position but Amiano has a good base and remains in mount.
VALERIO wants to hold on but Amiano pushes him away.
Amiano prevents VALERIO from getting the reversal.
VALERIO regains half guard.
VALERIO wants to control but Amiano is keeping busy.

VALERIO is looking to control Amiano's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can VALERIO avoid being mounted?

Miren Amiano comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Amiano has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
