Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!

With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jake Jordan!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Piston Honda!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan walks into a stiff left hand from Honda.
Jordan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jordan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Honda.
Honda misses with a series of wild punches.
Jordan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Honda as he avoids it easily.
Jordan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Honda throws a shot from downtown. Jordan moves away and avoids it.
Honda slips a jab and a cross from Jordan.
Honda pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Jordan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Honda scores with a sloppy right hand. Jordan should have avoided that one.
Honda listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.


Jordan is rocked!
Piston Honda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Honda throws a lazy right hand but Jordan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Oh Jordan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Honda tries to land a leg kick but Jordan saw it coming and moves away.
Jordan misses with a series of wild punches.
Jordan seems to have got his legs back now.
Jordan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Honda.
Jordan slips under a jab from Honda.

Jordan ducks under a wild hook from Honda.
Jordan moves out of range of the leg kick from Honda.

Jordan throws some wild stikes that Honda manages to avoid easily.

Honda is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Honda tries to reverse the position but Jordan maintains control.

Honda tries to lock up and control but Jordan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Jordan thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Jordan trying to control but Honda is having none of it.
Jordan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Honda is squirming around, avoiding Jordan's attempts to control the action.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jordan breaks from Honda's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Jordan throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Jordan wants to control the pace but Honda is squirming around nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jake Jordan will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

No joy there for Jordan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Honda cracks Jordan with a right hand to the side of the head.

Honda keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Honda lands an overhand right.
Honda checks a leg kick.
Jordan shoots in and drives through. Honda sprawls well.
Jordan on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Honda thuds a left hand into Jordan's body.
Jordan ducks into an uppercut from Honda and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Piston Honda! Piston Honda retains his welterweight title!
