Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jay Roc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kuzma Fedorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Roc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kuzma Fedorov!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Anthony Taglia and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fedorov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Roc fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Roc.

Roc gets the takedown into side control.

Roc swings around for an armbar but Fedorov sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Roc's guard.

Fedorov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Roc has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fedorov has managed to get both his arms back between Roc's legs - danger averted.
Fedorov trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Fedorov thows a big elbow that misses.
Fedorov advances to half guard.
Fedorov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Roc. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Roc wants to improve his position but Fedorov is controlling well.

Roc is working hard here to advance position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Fedorov in particular looking to stall.
Fedorov seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Fedorov is keen to just control but Roc is a slippery customer.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Roc shoots in looking for a takedown. Fedorov tries to sprawl out of it but Roc keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fedorov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jay Roc seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fedorov tries to clinch but Roc is having none of it.
Fedorov looks to land a body kick but Roc moved away.
Fedorov fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Roc looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Roc tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fedorov swivels and escapes.

Roc scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Roc is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Fedorov knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Fedorov manages to get back to half guard.

Fedorov gets back to full guard.
Roc would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Fedorov manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Roc wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fedorov cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Fedorov is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Roc can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Fedorov tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Roc is bucking up trying to escape but Fedorov cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Fedorov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Roc gets back to half guard.

Roc looking for submissions off his back.
Fedorov working the head and body with strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jay Roc will probably get the nod.

A clash of legs there as Roc blocks the low kick.
Fedorov tries a head kick but it misses.
Roc tries for a takedown but Fedorov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Roc is defended easily by Fedorov.
Roc shoots in looking for a takedown. Fedorov tries to sprawl out of it but Roc keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fedorov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roc fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fedorov avoids it really well and circles away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Fedorov moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Fedorov.
The fight stays on the outside here - Fedorov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Fedorov tries to close the distance and clinch but Roc swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jay Roc will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Roc closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fedorov tries to improve position but can't.
Fedorov is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Roc prevents Fedorov from improving his position.

The fighters are battling for position here. Fedorov manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Roc missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Roc thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Fedorov wants to sweep but no luck.
Fedorov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Roc's guard.
Fedorov loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Roc looking for a triangle here. Fedorov is fighting it but it looks tight! Roc pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Fedorov is tapping out - this one is all over!
