Excellent takedown into side control there by Kooneman.
Hoy wants to control but Kooneman postures up.
Hoy is looking for a sweep.
Hoy is trying to control Kooneman's posture but Kooneman avoids it.
Hoy tries to buck Kooneman off but Kooneman is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kooneman wants to stand but Hoy is controlling his arm.

Hoy gets back to half guard.
Hoy wants to control but Kooneman is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Hoy shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kooneman counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Hoy is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Kooneman frees his head nicely. Oh but Hoy has switched to an armbar! Kooneman is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
