Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emerson Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Alonso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alonso has chosen Epidemic as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos tries to close the distance and clinch but Alonso swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

so Santos counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Santos looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Alonso with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Emerson Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marco Alonso.
