Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Genesuis Silverkush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Manly McManliness!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McManliness tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Silverkush lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
McManliness digs a good hook to Silverkush's body.
Silverkush avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Silverkush lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Silverkush throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McManliness fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Silverkush manages to avoid it.

McManliness clinches.
McManliness is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
McManliness is trying to break the clinch but Silverkush is controlling him.
McManliness has Silverkush pushed against the cage.
McManliness looking to stall.

McManliness tries to stall but Silverkush uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
McManliness goes for a takedown attempt but Silverkush pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Silverkush lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McManliness circles away quickly and effectively.

McManliness tries to close the distance and clinch but Silverkush swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

McManliness shoots for a double leg takedown but Silverkush sprawls well. He's pushed McManliness's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Silverkush throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Silverkush is looking to clinch but McManliness is avoiding it.
McManliness rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silverkush moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
McManliness avoids the head kick by Silverkush.
McManliness throws a leg kick but Silverkush checks it.
Silverkush throws a combination that misses
and McManliness connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
McManliness changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silverkush tries to avoid it but McManliness manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silverkush to the ground. Silverkush escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
No joy there for Silverkush, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

McManliness takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
McManliness tries to clinch up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
McManliness walks into a left hand.
McManliness misses with a hook. Silverkush ducked under it nicely.
McManliness fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
McManliness shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silverkush but Silverkush pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Genesuis Silverkush is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
McManliness avoids a punch combination nicely.

and McManliness counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

McManliness is looking for a kimura but Silverkush is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for McManliness to get the leverage.
McManliness stops Silverkush from getting back to his feet.
McManliness is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

McManliness drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says McManliness as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Silverkush screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with McManliness! Nice submission victory there!
