The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Face thows a body shot but no joy.
Anvil leaves Face with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Anvil throws a hook but Face avoids it easily.
Horrible takedown by Face or perhaps it was just good defense by Anvil which made him look bad.
Nice takedown defense from Anvil. No joy for Face on that attempt.
Achilles Anvil has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hoof Face.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Face is defended easily by Anvil.
Anvil throws a right and a left that Face avoids nicely.
Anvil throws a hook to the side of Face's head but Face sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Anvil looks to land a right hand but Face moved out of range.
Face scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Face scores a takedown into full mount!
Face is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Face moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Anvil has worked his arm free - good work by Anvil!
Face looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Face is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Anvil is trying to escape and Face transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Anvil is forced to tap! Nice work there by Face! Very nice indeed!
