Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between hillbilly george (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and gustaff bahula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, hillbilly george!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, gustaff bahula!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

george moves into range and clinches up with bahula.
bahula stops a takedown attempt from george.

george works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
george wants to control from the top but bahula keeps moving.
bahula is trying to keep george in close.
bahula wants to sweep here but george controlling him for the moment.
george advances to half guard.
bahula is not content to let george control the position.
bahula really doesn't want to stay on the ground with george. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
george seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
bahula is trying to defend against the ground and pound but george scores with a couple of nice shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

bahula shoots in for a takedown but george shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
george tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but bahula swivels and escapes.
george fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

george shoots in for a double leg but bahula sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

george shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. george showed some decent athleticism there.

george is looking to take a break and control but bahula is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

bahula tries to bench press george off him but george keeps the position.

george decides to stand back up. george steps back and let's bahula get back to his feet.

george has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now george is on top in guard.
george is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

george shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches bahula napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

george decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on bahula, up you get!

bahula gets caught flat footed, as george shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
george advances to half guard.

bahula looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and george pushes past his half guard into mount!
george cracks bahula with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

george is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

george throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. bahula was covering up waiting for the punch and george finishes the takedown easily into guard.
george is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

george closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - george lands in his opponent's guard.

george thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

bahula can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as george controls the pace.

The referee stands the fighters back up. hillbilly george just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

and george counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

george decides to return to a standing position.

george decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
bahula trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee warns bahula that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
george tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

george working for a guillotine from mount but bahula is in no mood to give up.
george tries to control but bahula wriggling away.

george is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. bahula can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

george wants to control the pace but bahula is squirming around nicely.
bahula is trying desperately to improve position.
bahula is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
george manages to capitalize on a mistake by bahula to take his back!
george lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

george has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for bahula! Can he survive? No! He's out! george gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
