Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Marceau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Perrin Aybara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aybara is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Skinny Puppy Protest. On his way into the cage it seems that Xavier Marceau has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Xavier Marceau seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aybara shoots in and drives through. Marceau sprawls well.

Marceau throws a good cross that connects.
Aybara shoots for a takedown but Marceau saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Marceau closes the distance and clinches up with Aybara, looking for a takedown. Marceau pushes Aybara against the cage but Aybara circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Marceau shoots in and drives through. Aybara sprawls well.

Marceau has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Marceau wants to lay and pray for a moment but Aybara keeps working.

Marceau closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Aybara to the mat! Aybara manages to get full guard.

Marceau stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aybara swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Aybara has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Marceau can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
