Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saic doesn't manage to clinch there - Palhares circles away.

Saic takes the fight into the clinch.
Saic gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Palhares.
Palhares tries for a takedown but Saic manages to get underhooks.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Saic.
Palhares blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Palhares wants to stall.
Palhares is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Saic pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Mo Saic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucio Palhares.

Palhares has Saic pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Palhares pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Saic tumbling to the mat - Palhares dives into Saic's guard.
Saic on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Saic tries to get out of the position.
Saic is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Palhares drops back looking for a leg! Saic is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Saic manages to kick Palhares off! Palhares jumps back into Saic's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Palhares trying to control the position from guard on top but Saic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Saic is looking to stand up but Palhares isn't so interested in that idea.

Saic trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Saic has his hands on Palhares's head, controlling the position.
Saic keeping full guard, as Palhares tries to pass.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Palhares tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Saic counters with a two punch combo.
Palhares looks to clinch
and Saic counters with a left and a right... And another left! Palhares is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
