Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between hank the tank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and steve blackman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). blackman is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Three 6 Mafia - It's A Fight (Best of Rocky 6). steve blackman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
the tank misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from blackman.

blackman shoots for a double leg takedown but the tank sprawls well. He's pushed blackman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
the tank throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

the tank lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
blackman scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

blackman tries to pull guard but the tank holds him up against the cage and eventually blackman drops back down to his feet.

the tank escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
the tank thumps blackman with a low kick.
the tank uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
the tank will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
blackman tries a head kick but it misses.
the tank throws a wild body kick that blackman sees coming a mile off.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
