Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ruud Kraijcek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ule Brennerd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brennerd has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kraijcek misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Kraijcek thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Kraijcek misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
You get the feeling that Brennerd really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Kraijcek wants to finish this one by submission but Brennerd is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kraijcek.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brennerd can do anything to dispel that myth.

Kraijcek is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Brennerd knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Brennerd for a finish.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Brennerd avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Brennerd drops Kraijcek with a right and a left! Brennerd comes rushing in but Kraijcek regains his composure and manages to keep Brennerd in guard.

Horrible takedown by Kraijcek or perhaps it was just good defense by Brennerd which made him look bad.
