Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrese Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas has chosen Dream Shatterer as his entrance music. John Johnson has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Johnson avoids it really well and circles away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Johnson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Thomas was covering up waiting for the punch and Johnson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Johnson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Johnson wants to control from the top but Thomas keeps moving.

Thomas had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Johnson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Thomas Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Johnson's back instead.
Johnson is trying to get back to his feet but Thomas has full control of the position and if anything, Johnson has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Thomas somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
Johnson covering up well and avoiding damage.
Johnson finds himself mounted whilst avoiding strikes.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Johnson misses with a series of wild punches.
Thomas will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Thomas looks gassed!

Johnson sends Thomas crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Johnson is motioning to the referee to let Thomas up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Thomas is rocked!

It looks like Tyrese Thomas has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Johnson steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Thomas is out on his feet! Johnson sets himself and nearly takes Thomas's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
