Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Timur Orlan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Winner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Winner is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Teenage Wasteland. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Timur Orlan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Winner!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winner blocks a head kick by Orlan.
The fight stays on the outside here - Winner looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Orlan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Orlan tries a head kick but it misses.
Orlan scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Orlan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Orlan looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Winner wants to clinch up but Orlan keeps it at a distance.

Orlan throws a shot from downtown. Winner moves away and avoids it.

and Winner counters with a big head kick but Orlan shrugs it off.

Orlan tries to circle away but Winner has him pinned against the ropes.

Orlan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Orlan throws a front kick aimed at Winner's knee but Winner avoids it well.

Winner lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

so Winner counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Winner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Orlan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Winner postures up in Orlan's guard and throws a big left but Orlan blocks it.
Winner postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Orlan is trying to keep Winner in close.
Orlan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Winner has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Orlan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Winner doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Winner manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Winner working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Nick Winner dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Winner manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Orlan manages to get himself to full guard.
Winner is looking to advance position but Orlan has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Orlan is looking to stand but Orlan has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
