Thompson comes to the cage accompanied by 300/Five Finger Death Punch - White Knuckles. Mel Ester looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thompson shoots in and bounces Ester off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Ester looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Thompson chips away with some ground and pound.
Ester really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Thompson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ester utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Thompson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Thompson passes into half guard.

Thompson seems to be working for a kimura but Ester defends the submission attempt.

Thompson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Thompson moves nicely into side control.

Thompson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ester knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Thompson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Ester has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Thompson but great work by Ester.

Thompson has his feet on Ester's thighs here. He's pushed Ester off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Ester screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
