Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Amos Mosses (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forrest Griffith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mosses's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Amos Moses. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Amos Mosses!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Forrest Griffith!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffith moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.


It looks like Amos Mosses has been cut.
Griffith throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Griffith throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mosses.
Mosses throws a leg kick but Griffith checks it.
Mosses throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.


It looks like Forrest Griffith has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mosses shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Mosses moves into full mount! Griffith won't be happy about that!

Mosses swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Griffith is now in Mosses's guard. A big mistake from Mosses there, giving up the dominant position!

Mosses working for submissions but it's allowed Griffith to get to half guard.

Griffith prevents Mosses from improving his position.
Mosses wants to get back to full guard but Griffith has mounted him!
Griffith controlling the position easily from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Griffith prevents Mosses from getting the reversal.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Mosses is working hard here to advance position.
Mosses slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Mosses is looking for a sweep. Griffith is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Griffith tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Mosses.
Mosses tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Griffith has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Mosses working to try and regain half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Forrest Griffith will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Mosses's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Griffith throws a hook but Mosses blocks it.
Mosses cracks Griffith with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Mosses throws a series of punches but Griffith avoids them all with ease.
Griffith lands a jab to the nose.
Mosses throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Griffith works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Griffith throws a hook to the side of Mosses's head but Mosses sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Amos Mosses is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Mosses uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Griffith.
Griffith misses with a two punch combination.
Mosses closes this distance looking for a takedown but Griffith circles away.
A left and a right from Mosses both land. Nice combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Good work by Mosses as he checks the leg kick.
Griffith slips a jab and a cross from Mosses.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mosses.
Griffith swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Mosses.
Forrest Griffith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Griffith misses with a series of wild punches.
Griffith swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Mosses throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Griffith.
Griffith goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Griffith misses with a double jab.
Griffith misses the shot to the body.
Mosses fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Amos Mosses. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mosses avoids a kick to the body.
Mosses shoots in looking for a takedown. Griffith tries to sprawl out of it but Mosses keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Griffith manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Mosses tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Griffith is able to avoid easily.
Griffith ducks under a wild hook from Mosses.

Forrest Griffith seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Forrest Griffith is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Griffith is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mosses.
Griffith is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Griffith misses the jab.
Griffith lands with a thumping leg kick.
Griffith misses with a body kick.

Griffith gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mosses tries to free his leg and advance position but Griffith is retaining full guard.
Mosses throws a strike but Griffith rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Mosses looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Mosses working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Griffith doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Griffith manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Mosses will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Mosses isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Griffith stacks Mosses on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Griffith!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mosses tries to get to full guard but Griffith has control of the leg.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Forrest Griffith will probably get the nod - 10:9.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Griffith throws the left hand but Mosses avoids the punch easily.
Griffith thuds his shin into the meat of Mosses's side.

Griffith misses the shot to the body.
Mosses looks to land a right hand but Griffith moved out of range.

Mosses swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Griffith throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Mosses throws a looping overhand right but Griffith ducks down to avoid it.
A jab from Griffith misses.
Mosses uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Griffith.
Mosses swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Griffith counters with a nice uppercut.
Griffith misses with a low kick.
Griffith throws a body punch but Mosses moves out of range.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Mosses.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Mosses throwing strikes but missing, from side control.

Mosses misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Mosses is trying to ground and pound but Griffith uses the momentary lack of control by Mosses to regain half guard.
Griffith wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Griffith regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Mosses.
Mosses pushing down on Griffith's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Mosses is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Griffith as he works his way to full guard.
Mosses postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Mosses passes Griffith's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Mosses decides to return to a standing position.
Griffith just misses with a punch to the body.
Mosses uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Griffith.
A combination from Mosses does no damage.
Griffith misses with a two punch combination.
Mosses takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Mosses clinches with his opponent.
Griffith wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Mosses is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Griffith pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Mosses escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Griffith throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mosses sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Griffith takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Mosses throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Griffith throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Mosses uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Griffith.
Griffith displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mosses throws out the jab.
Mosses throws a right and a left that Griffith avoids nicely.
Mosses loads up on a big right hand but Griffith slips the punch.
Griffith moves away from the strike by Mosses.

Griffith dips to his left and cracks Mosses with an uppercut!

Griffith stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Griffith wants it to stay on the feet.
Griffith lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Griffith misses with the combination.
Mosses moves out of range of the body kick from Griffith.
Griffith misses with a leg kick
and Mosses counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Forrest Griffith is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Mosses is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Amos Mosses.
I think Griffith has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
