Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Holden McLoughlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McLoughlin comes to the cage accompanied by Home For A Rest by Spirit Of The West. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Leo Clarke enters the cage!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Dean Styles and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLoughlin takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The fight stays on the outside here - McLoughlin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Clarke fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McLoughlin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
McLoughlin tries to clinch but Clarke is having none of it.
Clarke circles away from the clinch attempt.
McLoughlin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Clarke swats him away and circles back towards the center.
McLoughlin fails in his attempt to clinch.
McLoughlin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Clarke bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops McLoughlin! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Clarke has hold of McLoughlin's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and McLoughlin manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Clarke lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
McLoughlin's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Clarke looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
McLoughlin tries to hold on but Clarke postures up.

Leo Clarke dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
McLoughlin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Clarke avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Leo Clarke seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Clarke throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McLoughlin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

McLoughlin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Clarke swats him away and circles back towards the center.
McLoughlin moves in looking to clinch but Clarke pushes him off.
McLoughlin shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than McLoughlin was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Clarke is squirming around, avoiding McLoughlin's attempts to control the action.

McLoughlin wants to control the pace but Clarke is squirming around nicely.
McLoughlin prevents Clarke from getting the reversal.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Clarke manages to regain half guard. Good work.
McLoughlin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Clarke on the ground.
Clarke is staying active underneath McLoughlin, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Clarke tries to roll over but McLoughlin keeps him under control.

A close second round but Leo Clarke will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Clarke fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. McLoughlin sprawls well initially but Clarke persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
McLoughlin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Clarke moves into full mount! McLoughlin won't be happy about that!
McLoughlin is wriggling around trying to escape.
Clarke in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Clarke cracks McLoughlin with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
McLoughlin is trying to stand up.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
McLoughlin can't escape the position.
