Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Desirkui tries to close the distance and clinch but Nieminen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Desirkui moves into the clinch successfully.
Nieminen wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Desirkui has him pressed against the cage.
Nieminen breaks the clinch.
Nieminen stuffs the takedown attempt from Desirkui. Desirkui gets slowly back to his feet.
Desirkui circles away from the clinch attempt.
Desirkui fails with a takedown attempt.
Nieminen doesn't manage to clinch there - Desirkui circles away.
Desirkui keeps the fight on the outside.
Desirkui drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Desirkui has hold of Nieminen's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Nieminen tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Desirkui cranks the arm and Nieminen screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Nieminen, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
