Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miky Mora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caua Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Miky Mora!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Caua Moore!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mora gets caught flat footed, as Moore shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Moore would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mora looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Mora working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Moore doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Moore manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mora had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Moore is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Mora Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Moore's back instead.

I really don't envy Moore right now.

Mora jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Moore manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Moore is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Mora has managed to free his arm - good work.
Mora is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Moore's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Moore's back!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Moore just trying to survive but Mora is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Moore must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Moore stands up from Mora's guard - Moore perhaps looking for a knockout.
Mora takes one to the chin there.
Moore is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Moore shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Moore showed some decent athleticism there.
Mora manages to get to full guard.

Moore got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mora has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Moore has managed to get both his arms back between Mora's legs - danger averted.

Mora looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Mora is working an open guard so Moore takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Mora shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

so Moore counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Mora looks to move to half guard but instead Moore has passed into mount! Damn!

Moore working for a guillotine from mount but Mora is in no mood to give up.
Moore lands a big shot there that rocks Mora but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Moore postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Mora looks a forlorn figure.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Moore landing punches.
Moore takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Mora tries to hold on but Moore postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mora is bucking up trying to escape but Moore cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Caua Moore has got the better of the ground game so far.
Moore lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
BOOM! Moore connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Mora tries to hold on but Moore pushes him away.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Moore is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Mora can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Moore avoids the attempt from Mora to control.

Let's hope that Moore has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Mora is desperately trying to improve his position but Moore has a good base and remains in mount.

Mora tries to hold on but Moore pushes him away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Despite being in the dominant position, Caua Moore just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Moore closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Moore lands in his opponent's guard.

Mora has his foot on Moore's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Moore works his way back into a safe position though.

Moore's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Mora is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Moore is controlling him.
Moore slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Caua Moore showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

A short right hand to the side of the head by Mora.
Moore keeps control of Mora as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Moore gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Mora.
The is referee keeping an eye on Moore - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Moore digs a right hand into Mora's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Mora's gas tank.

Moore escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Moore throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mora was covering up waiting for the punch and Moore finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Moore won't allow Mora to sweep him here.
Mora might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Moore controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Moore scoring with punches to the head and body.

Moore breaks Mora's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Moore is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Well, if Moore is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Mora is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Mora is looking to control Moore's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mora avoid being mounted?
Moore is taking a breather. Mora says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well Moore has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
