Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christoffer Holm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Heat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Holm might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Barbaric Bludgeonings. Johnny Heat has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heat blocks a low kick nicely.
Holm thows a body shot but no joy.
Holm thows a left - swing and a miss!
Heat uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Holm.
Holm throws a looping overhand right but Heat ducks down to avoid it.
Heat bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Heat fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Heat fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Holm avoids it really well and circles away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Heat.
Christoffer Holm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Heat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Heat is taking a breather. Holm says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Despite being in the dominant position, Johnny Heat just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Holm lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Holm fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Heat looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Holm lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Heat circles away quickly and effectively.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Heat feints and as Holm raises his hands in defense, Heat changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
