Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Puukko Punkkari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicolai Demikovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Demikovic's choice of entrance music: Russian National Anthem. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demikovic shoots in for a takedown but Punkkari shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Punkkari lands a head kick. Demikovic smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

and Demikovic decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Punkkari's guard.
Punkkari had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Demikovic is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Punkkari Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Demikovic's back instead.
Demikovic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Punkkari. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That was a close round but I would say that Puukko Punkkari will probably get the nod.
