Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mighty Mouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jesus Gonzalez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez tries a head kick but it misses.
Mouse fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gonzalez avoids it really well and circles away.
Gonzalez with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A head kick misses from Gonzalez.
Mouse throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gonzalez's waist but Gonzalez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mouse off to one side.
Gonzalez throws a nice outside leg kick.

Gonzalez tries a head kick but it misses.
Mouse shoots for a takedown but Gonzalez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mighty Mouse. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gonzalez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mouse dives in and grabs Gonzalez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gonzalez pushes down on Mouse's head and hops out.
Mouse shoots in for a takedown but Gonzalez shows good takedown defense.

Gonzalez lands a big head kick that sends Mouse tumbling to the mat! Gonzalez takes a step backwards and waves Mouse back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Mighty Mouse has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mouse looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Mouse is breathing heavily.
Mouse is looking to stall here but Gonzalez recovers full guard.
Gonzalez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mouse. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gonzalez is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Gonzalez connects with a nice looking jab.
Gonzalez lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Mouse takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Mouse chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gonzalez can pounce on him.

Mighty Mouse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gonzalez, right into the meat.
Mouse takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mouse crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gonzalez - the referee stops the clock and Mouse gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gonzalez. Mouse manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Gonzalez throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mouse.
A slapping body kick lands there for Gonzalez.
Mouse takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Mouse is rocked!
Mouse drops his hands momentarily and Gonzalez needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Mouse just on the top of the head. Mouse drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Mouse - he's done!
